I love nature but there are times when, you are ready to commune and nature isn't. Well not on your terms anyway. Last year while working on the "Hotep Garden" I was almost assassinated by a giant bumble bee, that looked as if it weighed more than Donald Trumps head.
At the time I was standing knee deep in beautiful wild flowers contemplating design ideas. It was difficult not to notice Bumble, simply because she was not dwarfed by the apples on my fruit tree. I thought wow… look at… then I screeched and fell backwards into a heap of half dug garden rubbish.
Before ambushing me, Bumble had paused for a moment, so we could lock eyes… then in full rage rushed straight at me. Initially I thought this was some kind of coincidence. But after she chased me indoors 3 times! I decided it wasn’t.
The garden was her sanctuary and I wasn’t even allowed to stand in it quietly, while she did her bee stuff.
This was one of those moments, where you are reminded that everything has a level of consciousness beyond what we (as humans) imagine.
This episode led me to discover Bumble Bee Jasper, a strong earth energy stone, said to improve abdominal issues, infections, allergies, the nervous system and heart and circulatory system disorders. It has also been known to increase physical vitality. This stone is associated with the sacral and solar plexus chakras and it won’t chase you out of your own garden.
