Most people don't realise that these " yellow weeds" are actually plants that have powerful health benefits for humans.

Dandelions an be used to treat: muscle aches, loss of appetite, upset stomach, intestinal gas, gallstones, joint pain, eczema & bruises.  Dandelion is also capable of increasing urine production and can also serve as a laxative to increase bowel movements.

Some people use Dandelion to treat serious viral infections and even cancer.  Dandelion is a natural blood tonic that helps cleanse the digestive system.  It is also great as a skin toner.

Dandelions can be chopped and used to garnish salads & soups or simply added to sauces.  They can also be eaten raw but they do have a pungent bitter taste.  I prefer to drink Dandelion tea, its one of the easier ways to access its health benefits.

Mindfulness Can Help You To Become Resilient & Focused.

According to researchers at Cambridge University, mindfulness training helps build focus, improve mental health and boost wellbeing.

Studies show that students are better equipped to handle stressful situations if they tune into their consciousness.  I am glad this research has come to light, because sometimes I receive criticism from others (on social media) who think I’m nuts because I practice mindfulness and think outside the box.

Prof Peter Jones of Cambridge University Psychiatry department, stated that “The evidence is mounting that mindfulness training can help people to cope with accumulative stress..”

Mindfulness awareness practice combined with holistic therapies can combat depression and  ease social anxiety.
